“We’re very conscientious and make sure everyone is happy when the job is completed,” said Trish Buckley, office manager of Marble & Granite Fabricators. “My husband, Hugh, installs with his crew and Andrzej, his partner, does all the templates, so there’s always an owner on every job. We handle repairs, and we service all of our projects, so if you have issues down the road, we’ll come back.”

From concept to completion, Marble & Granite Fabricators offers design, fabrication and installation of top-grade granite, marble, quartz and soapstone from brands such as Pental Quartz, Cambria, MSI Quartz, Silestone, Spectrum Quartz, Emerstone, Radianz, Compac, Wilsonart, Enigma, Viatera and Alleanza.

“It looks very pretty when you have a material with a pattern and the pattern flows into the sink and then out,” said Buckley, who noted that kitchen countertop remodels are the company’s most popular project right now. “People are really interested in quartz countertops. You can get quartz that doesn’t have a busy pattern and looks more like marble. White is still very popular.”

Unlike granite and marble, quartz is not 100% natural stone. Rather, countertops are
manufactured using 95% ground natural quartz and 5% polymer resins to create a more durable, nonporous and easier-to-maintain surface — which is especially desirable in hard-working kitchens.

Buckley said homeowners are adding beauty and function to their outdoor spaces as well, from full kitchens and bars to barbecue stations for amateur grill masters. “A lot of people are installing outdoor pizza ovens, so they want a countertop for that,” she said.
